| In Occupied Territories, the Wehrmacht is quick to move in the Military Polizei to restore order over the civilian population. Culled from the ranks of the Heer, the MPs take discipline very seriously, punishing themselves or others at the slightest provocation and should be feared by all who encounter them. They are alert, able and active in defense. It is rare to catch the Military Polizei by surprise.

only to Adolph Hitler. A significant part of the German fighting force,
the SS is characterized by fierce dedication to the goals of the Führer:

In a very short period of time, it turned farmers, machinists and
merchants into a single fighting force that nearly captured Europe.

To be a commissioned officer in the Gestapo, an individual must display military skill, intense self-discipline and fanatical allegiance to the Führer. Their fierce dedication often inspires their troops to greater achievement and ultimate victory. A fight with the Gestapo is a fight to the bitter end.
A number of other encounters should be treated as a fight with the enemy. These individuals are to be considered part of the Wehrmacht and dispatched when the opportunity presents itself. Some are capable of warning others, so do not hesitate.
